  8. The PrintOMatic Lite Xtra provides essential printing functionality for
  9. Macromedia Director 5.0.
  10.  
  11. Its main purpose is to add a global print handler to Lingo that will print just
  12. about anything. More advanced Lingo users can create an instance of the Xtra for
  13. more control over page settings, print preview, and more.
  14.  
  15. This is only a brief "Read Me" file. The full documentation for PrintOMatic
  16. Lite can be printed from the demo movie POMLITE.DIR, or viewed on-line
  17. by opening the help file POMLITE.HLP with the Windows Help Viewer.

  20. PrintOMatic Components
  21. ----------------------

  23. Several files relating to PrintOMatic Lite are installed on your hard disk:

  25.     POMLITE.X16 (16-bit Windows)
  26.     POMLITE.X32 (32-bit Windows)
  27.       The PrintOMatic Lite Xtra, located in Director's XTRAS folder.

  29.     POMLITE.HLP
  30.       The PrintOMatic Lite on-line help file, located in the Director folder.

  32.     POMLITE.DIR  
  33.       The PrintOMatic Lite Demo movie, which prints all the documentation
  34.       using the PrintOMatic Lite Xtra.

  37.       The file you are reading now.

  39. The only files that are essential in run-time projects are POMLITE.X16 and
  40. POMLITE.X32. If your project uses PrintOMatic Lite, you MUST include
  41. these files in an XTRAS folder within the folder your projector is in.

  46. Using PrintOMatic Lite's On-Line Help
  47. -------------------------------------

  49. An on-line help file has been provided as part of the PrintOMatic Lite
  50. installation. This help file can be used right alongside Director's own on-line
  51. help file as you work. To use the on-line help file:

  53.        From within Director, select the menu item 
  54.        "PrintOMatic Lite -> PrintOMatic Lite Help" from the "Xtras" menu. 
  55.        This will open the PrintOMatic Lite Help file using the Windows 
  56.        Help Viewer.
